Our mission is to love and encourage women by prolaiming the Good News (Jesus deeply loves you!) and training them to be disciples of Christ according to God’s design for womanhood.

Below are a few opportunities to have fun together, get to know Jesus better, and build friendships!

Fridays with the Girls

There are a lot of new faces in our church, and we want to get to know each other better! To do that, we’re going to have four “Fridays with the Girls.”

Each Friday at 7 pm, you’ll be with a new group of women in a home or a coffee shop with time to get to know and enjoy each other.

We’ll meet September 19th, October 3rd, October 24th, and November 14th. Interested? Sign up at the visitor table in the front lobby! If you have questions, talk to Cheri (719-487-0488) or Laurel (719-227-8582).

Want to be a Spirit-filled Follower of Jesus?

Join Jenny and Laurel as they go through the second book in the Navigator’s Design for Discipleship Series.  They’ll be meeting Sunday evenings Sept. 21st through Oct. 19th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.  The cost of the book is $7.50.  Childcare is available if needed for $1/child/hour.  Let us know soon if you’ll be joining us!

Ready for Christmas?

Don’t worry; we aren’t either! But, we have scheduled a SLC Women’s Christmas Party. Mark your calendars now for our party on Sunday evening, December 7th, and plan on celebrating our Savior’s birth with us!

One of the best ways to get connected and stay connected is through a Life Group. It is at these small-group Bible studies that we intentionally develop genuine relationship with God and with one another. At SLC, Life Groups meet for 8 weeks of “breathing in” (small group Bible study) followed by eight weeks of “breathing out” (sharing God’s love with our families, friends, and communities).

Yearly Life Group Pattern
February-March – breathing in
April-May – breathing out
June-July – breathing in
August-September – breathing out
October-November – breathing in
December-January – breathing out
(Times and days of the week may vary from session to session – see events for additional details.)

Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to Him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

One of the primary values of Springs of Life Church is “Family-based Ministry.” Children are dear to us, and building healthy families is a priority. We believe that a “life-giving home” that exhibits grace, life, purpose and order is a reachable goal for every Christian family.

At its very core, SLC is a ministry to families, through families. Since his initial call to ministry, Pastor Dan’s heart has been for families (his seminary degree is actually a Master in Divinity in Christian Education). His goal is to raise up strong family leadership, and his teaching is filled with family-based illustrations. But Dan’s not alone in this calling! Many of SLC’s families have a strong call to glorify God through adoption, foster care, home-schooling and public school involvement.

It is our goal that every child will enjoy coming to church and delight in their own personal relationship with God. This happens as they interact with enthusiastic, caring adult leaders, participate in vibrant worship, learn how to apply the Bible to their daily life, and have practical, fun opportunities to put their faith into action.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.  Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14

The men at SLC are committed to encouraging each other to be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong and do everything in love.  To learn about our weekly men’s groups, click here.
